When income is constrained or limited, households may be forced to make difficult decisions that can result in a less-than-adequate supply of food.

What will you do when a poor person comes to you asking for food?

Yes, I would help the poor person. I would first try to understand their situation and see what they need the most. If they are hungry, I would buy them food or give them money to buy food . If they are cold, I would give them a jacket or a blanket.

Children who are unable to access free school meals during the holidays ; individuals who are using food banks for the first time after a job loss; parents on low incomes who skip meals so their children can eat; older people unable to prepare meals without support, or people with no recourse to public funds who are
